Job Description:
Identify opportunities for business growth and cost optimisation, and translate these into structured initiatives with clear execution plans and measurable commercial outcomes.
Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses to diagnose key business challenges, uncover root causes, and develop practical, actionable recommendations.
Perform external research on market trends, competitor approaches, and industry best practices, and propose ways to adapt relevant learnings to Shopee's business context.
Build a strong understanding of the goals and success drivers across marketing, business development, and other commercial functions, and continuously improve strategies, operating approaches, reporting frameworks, and planning processes.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of key business metrics across Asia markets, partnering with local teams to identify performance gaps, define improvement opportunities, and proactively support implementation of follow-up actions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and geographies to ensure alignment, maintain execution momentum, and drive consistency in regional commercial initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
A minimum of 1 year of full-time strategy working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
Prior exposure to B2C internet, e-commerce marketing, retail, or FMCG marketing will be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically, structure ambiguous problems, and deliver solution-oriented recommendations.
Proven stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams from different markets, cultures, and backgrounds.
Comfortable operating in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
