Responsibilities:
- Design and review mechanical layouts for warehouse automation systems using AutoCAD
- Integrate AGV, AMR, and shuttle systems within warehouse infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in automation equipment (e.g., AGVs, conveyors, AMRs)
- Support on-site installation, commissioning, and system testing
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Supervise small teams or subcontractors and provide technical guidance
- Travel as required for site inspections, installations, and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, sensors, and actuators.
- Exposure to PLC or automation systems is an added advantage.
- Strong practical knowledge in automation and control systems, electrical schematics, system integration, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience in project leadership or small team management.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Open to travel and site-based work when required.
