What it's about

Your Main Duties And Responsibilities Comprise The Following Tasks

• Source investment opportunities in thematic areas of focus for Partners Group Infrastructure
• Discuss relevant factors about each investment opportunity that he/she is working on, with the firm's senior managers
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis on prospective direct equity investments in companies in the infrastructure sector in Asia-Pacific
• Own and run complex financial models across various infrastructure sub-sectors
• Conduct strategic & financial analysis of various sectors and companies of interest
• Develop relevant investment themes and target companies within that thematic across Asia Pacific
• Prepare Investment Committee papers for Investment Committee in Partners Group's template. Attend and participate in Investment Committee meetings on a regular basis
• Lead transaction due diligence work-streams, including financial, commercial, legal, tax, etc.
• Actively participate in meetings with current and prospective target companies. Undertake on-site visits, etc.
• Support investment leadership in securing debt arrangements, negotiating purchase/sale agreements, shareholders agreements, employment agreements and incentive compensation for management teams of portfolio companies
• Work closely with portfolio companies and portfolio management teams in Asia Pacific to implement Partners Group's underwritten value creation plan
• Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, and marketing efforts
  
  

What We Expect

• 6-9 years of relevant work experience in top-tier private equity, infrastructure, investment banking or management consulting firm
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, interpersonal and (oral and written) communication skills
• Ability to work in global, multi-cultural teams, and on cross-border investment environments across multiple geographies
• Self-starter, strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
• Fluency in oral / written English essential (additional Asian language capabilities can be a positive)
• Superior academic credentials which demonstrates a consistent track record of achievement
