Develop broadcast rundowns, scripts, and content strategies to deliver engaging and high-quality viewing experiences.
Direct live broadcasts, coordinating various production elements such as camera angles, graphics, replays, and talent.
Coordinate broadcast schedules, ensuring smooth transitions between different programs and events.
Manage and maintain all broadcast technology and equipment, including cameras, mixers, encoders, graphics systems, and streaming platforms.
Troubleshoot technical issues during live broadcasts and implement immediate solutions to minimize downtime.
Research and recommend new technologies and workflows to enhance broadcast quality and efficiency.
Job Requirements
3+ years of experience in live broadcast production, preferably within the esports or sports industry.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by tournament schedules. This role may involve frequent regional travel to various countries for work-related assignments.
Proven experience in directing live shows and managing complex technical setups.
Strong working knowledge of live broadcast production software/hardware (e.g., vMix, OBS, EVS, NDI, comms, streaming encoders, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud streaming, remote production workflows, and signal distribution across platforms.
Ability to integrate new technologies and optimize broadcast workflows in both online and studio settings.
Good understanding of the Battle Royale genre and its competitive esports ecosystem.
Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills during live events.
Experience working in global or cross-regional esports tournaments is highly preferred.
