Job Summary
You will prepare comprehensive accounting records, manage tax compliance, and support audits for clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare full sets of accounts and accounting schedules for clients to ensure accurate financial records
- Assist in conducting client yearly audits to support compliance and financial integrity
- Prepare payroll, CPF/IR8A forms, and individual tax submissions to meet statutory requirements
- Compile and submit GST reports to IRAS for clients to ensure timely tax compliance
- Compute local taxes and manage tax filing processes to comply with local tax regulations
- Prepare unaudited financial statements to provide interim financial insights
- Utilize MYOB, XERO, and NAV software to maintain accurate accounting records and streamline processes
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve accounting and tax issues effectively
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support team objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in auditing or accounting/tax preparation for third-party clients
- Experience working with Thailand and Vietnam accounting standards and practices
- Background as an ex-auditor is welcomed
