Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will oversee daily financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. This role drives financial accuracy and supports strategic decision-making through detailed analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial reports to inform business decisions and ensure regulatory compliance
- Reconcile accounts daily to maintain integrity of financial data and identify discrepancies promptly
- Manage budgeting processes to align financial resources with organizational goals
- Monitor cash flow to optimize liquidity and support operational needs
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries
- Analyze financial data to generate actionable insights that support strategic planning and business growth
- Utilize accounting software and advanced Excel functions to streamline data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure transparent financial communication
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in senior accounting or financial management roles
