Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will oversee complex accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role involves managing investment portfolios accounting, preparing consolidated financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The candidate will have strong knowledge of investment accounting, financial instruments, and relevant tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company lorry safely to transport construction materials and equipment.
- Deliver materials to construction sites on time.
- Assist in loading and unloading when required.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (brakes, tyres, lights, oil, etc.).
- Ensure materials are properly secured during transport.
- Follow Singapore traffic laws and company safety rules.
- Wear proper PPE and follow site safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor.
- Keep delivery records and necessary documents.
Qualifications/Skill:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in investment or financial services.
- Strong understanding of investment accounting, financial instruments, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting and portfolio management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Bloomberg).
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of MAS guidelines and tax regulations for investment companies.
