Role Overview
We are supporting a fast-growing, international technology company with regional operations in Singapore and overseas markets. The company is looking to hire an Accountant to support cross-border accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-set accounting for Singapore and overseas entities, including general ledger, month-end closing, consolidation, and statutory reporting.
- Establish and maintain accounting standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both local management and group-level requirements.
- Support the integration of overseas entities into the group accounting and reporting framework.
- Work with internal stakeholders and IT teams to improve financial systems and reporting processes.
- Handle tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with internal teams to provide financial data and analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist with budgeting, planning, and other finance-related initiatives as required.
- Handle ad-hoc finance tasks and projects assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience; exposure to both Big 4 and in-house environments is preferred.
- Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior Accountant position.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with regional exposure.
