Job Description

Scope of Work

. Prepare timely and accurate legal entities financial accounts, and other management accounting related MIS.

. Establish Governance and control around finance function, maintain robust operations and accounting controls.

. Prepare annual budgets for Investment entities.

. Supervise and record financial statements for investment companies in accounting system.

. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, compliance reports, financial statements, and other reports.

. Liaise with auditors and coordinate closure of all interim and annual audits.

. Perform periodic reconciliations of financials and investments records.

. Stay abreast of accounting & Transfer Pricing policies and International Financial accounting standards.

. Oversight of accounts receivable and payable function

. Assist in Analytics and sundry reporting.

. Oversight of data repository- Finance records

. Other financial accounting & administrative activities

. Participate in UAT system testing for system updates (ad-hoc)

. Other Ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) are strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS and/or US GAAP), including month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.

  • Hands-on experience with general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, and intercompany accounting.

  • Solid understanding of tax compliance, statutory reporting, and audit processes experience liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.

  • Proficiency in accounting systems with advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaborate cross-functionally with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
