Senior Accountant

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage full-set accounting, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) functions. This role will also supervise a small team and liaise closely with auditors and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, with primary focus on:
• Accounts Payable (AP): invoice processing, payment runs, vendor reconciliation
• General Ledger (GL): journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end closing
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Supervise a small accounting team (mainly AP / junior staff), reviewing work and ensuring accuracy
• Liaise with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and resolve queries
• Partner with internal stakeholders on finance-related matters
• Support process improvements, particularly in AP and closing processes

Requirement

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA) preferred
• 5-8 years of experience, with strong exposure in AP and GL
• Proven experience in handling full-set accounts in a hands-on capacity
• Prior experience supervising a small team
• Experience liaising with auditors independently
• Good communication skills for stakeholder management
