Senior/Cost Accountant (Tuas, Manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

• Manage manufacturing costing, standard setting, and standard costing activities.
• Collaborate with Production and R&D on product costing, inventory management, and GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Analyse production variances, investigate actual vs standard costs, and review inventory for excess/obsolete stock.
• Prepare monthly operating reports, KPI dashboards, and data analytics.
• Partner with operations on process improvements and cost control projects.
• Perform physical inventory counts, month-end closing, and related journal entries (cost accruals, GIT, inventory adjustments).
• Maintain Bill of Materials and item master support audits and external requests.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments or special projects as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in manufacturing industry
