Accountant / Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare full set of accounts (AP, AR and GL) for operating entities
• Prepare supporting schedules, including month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare consolidation of a sub-group
• Prepare statutory financial statements, management reports and Group reporting
• Prepare annual budget, monitor cash flow and prepare quarterly forecast
• Prepare GST returns, assist in corporate tax filing for the assigned companies
• Support implementation and monitoring of internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
• Liaise with operations team, auditors, tax agents and external service providers
• Review the work of team member(s) supporting the operating entities
• Manage ad-hoc projects when assigned and assist in embarking on finance digitalisation initiatives when required

Requirements:

• Degree holder and qualified accountant with ACCA/CPA Australia/ISCA
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in preparing full sets of accounts and closely dealing with operations team
• Candidate with manufacturing background will be an advantage
• Candidates with accounting background in listed companies/MNCs are preferred
• Team player who is pro-active, self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Good technical accounting background
• Able to be based on site in Pioneer/Gul Circle area at least 1-2 days a week
