Role Summary

The Senior Account Manager is a key leader focused on building and growing the company's most important client partnerships. Acting as a trusted advisor to executives and senior stakeholders, this role drives long-term account success, delivers exceptional service, and ensures alignment with the company's business goals and creative vision. Beyond managing events, the Senior Account Manager makes sure every project is financially sound, flawlessly executed, and in sync with the client's brand vision and priorities. With a people-first approach, they balance business goals with an empathetic understanding of client needs, team dynamics, and collaboration. They help shape account strategies, strengthen client relationships, foster teamwork across departments, and play an active role in sales planning, pipeline growth, and achieving lasting business results.

Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own and manage a portfolio of key and strategic client accounts.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and trust.
  • Develop account strategies to drive repeat business, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.
  • Ensure account profitability, pricing discipline, and commercial sustainability.

Revenue Ownership

  • Lead revenue delivery for assigned accounts and major event portfolios.
  • Forecast sales pipeline, revenue, and margins in collaboration with the Executive Director and Management.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new client accounts.
  • Support pitches, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Event & Delivery Oversight

  • Provide strategic oversight on medium to large/high-scale events
  • Ensure event strategies align with client objectives, brand positioning, and business goals.
  • Intervene directly on high-risk or high-profile projects when required.

Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain senior-level client relationships (decision-makers, C-suite, brand leaders).
  • Lead business reviews, post-event evaluations, and long-term planning discussions.
  • Manage client expectations, risks, and complex stakeholder dynamics.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members
  • Set clear sales and service expectations for the team.
  • Identify capability gaps and partner with leadership to design targeted development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and revenue ownership mindset.

Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Contribute to sales strategy, pricing models, and go-to-market planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, and HR leaders to align delivery with growth objectives.
  • Provide insights on market trends, client feedback, and competitive positioning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or event/project management.
  • Equivalent practical experience in client servicing or event management is acceptable.
  • Proven experience managing mid to large-scale client accounts or projects.
  • Experience in events, marketing agencies, or creative environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
