We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join our dynamic security team in Singapore. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in protecting our organization's critical infrastructure and data by operating advanced security platforms, validating detections, and conducting proactive threat hunting. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain robust security postures while continuously innovating our defense strategies. • Operate and maintain SIEM, EDR, XDR, PAM platforms, and patch management pipelines with precision and efficiency
• Validate and verify security detections; analyze and tune detection rules and use-cases to minimize false positives while maximizing threat coverage
• Perform structured log reviews and conduct threat hunting activities; escalate, track, and drive incidents to closure with decisive action
• Configure, maintain, and optimize security tools and platforms including antivirus solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and asset management tools
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to monitor security system health, schedule routine health checks, and report on platform key performance indicators
• Analyze security events and vulnerabilities with a keen analytical eye; provide clear, actionable recommendations for patching and remediation decisions
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by documenting lessons learned, sharing best practices, and identifying opportunities to enhance our security posture
• Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, emerging trends, and innovative technologies; actively pursue opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and skill set
• Support incident response activities and collaborate with the security team to investigate and resolve security concerns
  
  

• Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking fundamentals, and application architecture
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, XDR, PAM, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and asset/patch management tools
• Demonstrated ability to perform structured log reviews and communicate findings clearly and concisely
• Working knowledge of core cybersecurity principles including threat identification, vulnerability assessment, and detection versus response methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about security challenges
• Experience with incident tracking, escalation procedures, and incident response workflows
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication and documentation abilities; capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the cybersecurity field
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and standards (such as ISO 27001) is a plus
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP) are preferred but not required
