We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our South East Asia business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing full profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, with a focus on driving sustainable profitable growth. This role requires strategic leadership in growing sales, enhancing gross margins, and managing overhead costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the South East Asia business's full profit and loss account, ensuring financial targets are met and sustained.
- Develop and implement robust sales strategies to achieve significant growth in revenue across the region.
- Analyze and enhance gross margins through effective pricing strategies and cost management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning within the insulation product sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Manage a portfolio of products including Glass Wool (Fiberglass), Stone Wool (Rock Wool / Mineral Wool), Slag Wool, and Ceramic Fiber.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) with a Master's or MBA qualification.
- Proven track record of leading a profit and loss account with an annual turnover of more than GBP 30 million.
- Strong understanding of the insulation products market, particularly in mineral-based insulation solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
