PositionOverview
As a Director,you will carry end-to-end responsibility for client projects, including overallaccountability for specific modules in large-scale engagements. You will workclosely with clients to deepen understanding of competitive dynamics, craftstrategies, and secure C-suite buy-in. This is the closest position toPartnership - with the autonomy to build your own practice, shape the firm'sdirection, and define YCP's market position in your domain.
KeyResponsibilities
. Lead large-scaleclient projects with full delivery accountability
. Manage multipleconcurrent projects
. Build long-termrelationships with client C-suite and decision-makers
. Establish andcodify practice areas build thought leadership
. Contributedirectly to firm management (hiring, talent development, strategic planning)
. Representing YCPat industry events and conferences
. Develop andelevate team capability across the organisation
RequiredQualifications
. MBA orequivalent master's degree (top-tier school)
. 7+ years ofexperience in strategy/management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, audit,law, or related fields
. Big 4 at Managerlevel or above with internal promotion track record, or strategy firm with 5+years
. English atbusiness level or above
. Native-levelproficiency in an Japanese language
. DemonstratedC-suite / board-level advisory capability and executive presence
. Proven trackrecord of building and maintaining high-performing teams
PreferredQualifications
. Partner/Principaltrack experience at MBB, Big 4, or a recognized boutique firm
. Professionalqualifications (CPA, Bar admission, CFA, etc.)
. Businessleadership experience across multiple Asian countries, including cross-borderengagements
. Establishednetwork and deep industry expertise in YCP focus sectors
. Organisationaltransformation-level leadership and successor development track record
