Role Description
The Head of Sales / Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing the sales team to achieve business targets. This role focuses on expanding market presence, building strong client relationships, and ensuring consistent sales performance across regions or business units.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Leading, coaching, and managing the sales team
- Setting sales targets and monitoring performance
- Identifying new business opportunities and markets
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners
- Collaborating with marketing, product, and operations teams
- Preparing sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
Qualifications (Must-have)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 7–10+ years of experience in sales, with leadership experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in B2B or enterprise sales (preferred depending on industry)
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, or similar leadership role
- MBA or Master's degree (optional but advantageous)
- Experience in international or regional sales management
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Strong network in relevant industry sector
