Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity, and reliability
- Manage the daily functions of the business
- Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
- Manage budget to align with goals of business
- Manage a team of import, export, transshipment & nomination staff
- Handle Shipping Claims where needed
- Negotiate with Carriers, Warehouse Operators or Distribution networks to determine favourable Tariffs
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain / Maritime / Engineering or related
- Min 8 years of experience in NVOCC consolidation operations environment
- NVOCC work experience is required for the role
- Proficient in using Sysfreight Software
- International trade & development experience will be a plus
