The Role: Schneider Early Career Program | Talent Acquisition Optimization Specialist, East Asia

This role will be part of the Schneider Early Career Program (SECP), a one-year program designed for high-potential professionals with 3–5 years of experience. Participants will accelerate their growth via structured development, stretch assignments, and mentorship from leaders across the organization.

The Talent Acquisition Optimization Specialist, East Asia will support the design, optimization, and execution of regional Talent Acquisition initiatives across East Asia. This role will work closely with the Zone CoE team to improve recruiting processes, enhance operational efficiency, strengthen data-driven decision-making, and support consistent adoption of global and regional TA practices.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple markets, stakeholders, and priorities. This person will play a key role in enabling recruiter productivity, improving candidate and hiring manager experience, and supporting TA transformation projects across the region.

What will you do

TA Process Excellence & Program Management

  • Support the continuous improvement of regional TA processes and governance.
  • Partner with recruiters, coordinators, HR, and business to identify operational gaps.
  • Maintain documentation, playbooks, templates, and knowledge materials.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of global TA frameworks, regional guidelines, tools, and best practices.
  • Work across countries to gather inputs, consolidate feedback, and coordinate execution.
  • Track progress, follow up on actions, consolidate updates, and prepare status summaries.

Recruiting Operations

  • Drive operational discipline and governance around requisition management, offer processes, interview coordination, candidate experience, and hiring compliance.
  • Monitor recruitment workflow and key operational metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve process adherence, and enhance recruiter productivity.

Data, Reporting, and Insights

  • Prepare and maintain TA dashboards and reports for East Asia markets.
  • Translate data into practical insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with relevant teams to improve data accuracy, reporting discipline, and consistent use of recruiting systems.
  • Support recurring business reviews, regional TA meetings, and leadership updates.

TA Technology and Tools Support

  • Drive change management and effective usage of applicant tracking system (iCIMS), reporting tools, recruitment solutions (eg. Hirevue, LinkedIn), etc.
  • Troubleshoot process or system-related questions by partnering relevant global or local support teams.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify manual work, improve data quality, and enhance recruiter productivity through technology.
  • Support user testing, training, documentation, and rollout activities for TA tools or system enhancements.

What qualifications will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR operations, HR project management, or HR transformation.
  • Experience working in a regional or multi-market environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and hiring operations.
  • Comfortable working with recruiting systems, Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and summarize insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
