Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling works at construction and industrial project sites. The role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient scaffolding operations in accordance with Singapore WSH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling works on site
- Ensure all scaffolding structures are safe, stable, and compliant with regulations
- Lead and manage scaffolding team (workers and chargehands)
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety checks
- Ensure compliance with WSH safety standards and permit requirements
- Coordinate with site engineers, safety officers, and project teams
- Monitor material usage and site progress
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Report site progress and safety issues to management
Requirements
- Minimum 3-8 years experience in scaffolding works
- Strong knowledge of industrial / construction scaffolding systems
- Valid scaffolding supervisor certificate (Singapore approved)
- Familiar with WSH safety regulations and site procedures
- Ability to read scaffold drawings and plans
- Strong leadership and site coordination skills
- Experience in plant shutdown / maintenance projects preferred
