Job Description
We are looking for a Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety and health compliance across construction / project sites and support safe execution of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) safety regulations
- Carry out risk assessments (RA) and review Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and prepare reports
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices on site
- Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, and clients on safety matters
- Maintain safety documentation and records
Requirements
- Registered WSH Officer / Safety Officer certification
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction or industrial sites
- Good knowledge of MOM safety regulations and site safety systems
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Able to work independently and handle multiple sites
