Job Summary
We are looking for a SCADA Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to support the development, integration, and maintenance of SCADA systems within an Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) environment. The role focuses on centralized monitoring, data visualization, and system integration across building facilities.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SCADA systems to enable centralized monitoring of building services, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability
- Develop and modify SCADA/HMI graphics, alarms, trends, and reports to enhance system usability and data insight
- Integrate SCADA with BMS and other building subsystems using standard communication protocols to achieve seamless system interoperability
- Support IBMS platform integration by implementing a uniform user interface for consistent user experience across systems
- Interface SCADA systems with custom mobile applications used for Building Fault Reports (BFR) and corrective maintenance to streamline issue resolution
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to validate system performance and resolve technical issues promptly
- Monitor system performance metrics to ensure data accuracy and maintain high system availability
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and maintain system configuration records to support ongoing system management and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Automation, Control, or Computer Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience working with SCADA or IBMS-related systems
- Proficiency with SCADA/HMI platforms to develop and maintain system interfaces and controls
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC, or TCP/IP to enable effective system integration
- Basic knowledge of networking and system integration principles to support connectivity and data flow
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in building or facility management SCADA systems to enhance domain-specific application knowledge
- Knowledge of database, historian, or reporting tools to support data management and analysis
- Exposure to mobile or web-based system integration to facilitate modern, flexible system architectures
