Responsibilities:
Batch Job Scheduling & Monitoring
- Schedule and monitor SAP batch jobs to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Use job scheduling tools to manage job execution and ensure SLA compliance.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Identify and resolve issues related to batch job failures or delays.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
Optimization & Automation
- Analyze batch job performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and proactive monitoring.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of batch job schedules, configurations, and processes.
- Generate regular reports on job performance, SLAs, and incidents.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand batch processing needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users on batch job functionalities and best practices.
Requirement:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in related fields
- Excellent SAP techno-functional knowledge with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
- Proven experience in Batch Management within SAP environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP job scheduling tools (e.g., SM36, SM37, Redwood, etc.).
- Experience in SAP implementation or support projects involving batch operations.
