Batch Job Scheduling and Monitoring
Schedule and monitor batch jobs to ensure timely execution.
Manage job execution using SAP scheduling tools.
Ensure jobs are executed accurately and within SLAs.
Diagnose and resolve batch job failures or delays.
Work closely with technical and functional teams to resolve issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Analyze and optimize batch job performance.
Recommend improvements to reduce processing times and optimize resources.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for job execution and monitoring.
Maintain detailed documentation of batch job schedules, processes, and configurations.
Prepare regular reports on batch performance and SLA compliance.
Provide status updates and incident reports to stakeholders.
Partner with business and technical teams to understand batch processing requirements.
Communicate job schedules, status, and issue resolutions effectively.
Train and support end-users on batch job functionalities and best practices.
Strong SAP techno-functional skills with hands-on experience in Batch Management.
Prior experience in SAP projects and batch operations is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Available to join immediately or within 1 month notice period.
SAP fundamentals and batch job configuration.
Working knowledge of essential SAP transactions such as SM37, SM36, and other standard transactions and tables.
12 years of relevant experience is acceptable, provided candidates demonstrate solid understanding of the basics.
