We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP HCM Compensation Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, support, and enhancement of SAP Compensation and related HCM modules. This role involves troubleshooting, system configuration, testing, documentation, and delivering high-quality solutions that align with business requirements. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Investigate reported problems/errors, initiate amendments, and perform testing to ensure efficient and accurate system operations.
- Propose effective workarounds or alternative solutions, oversee solution selection, and estimate resources/costs required to implement the proposed solution.
- Manage changes to configurable items, including configuration management planning, identification, controls, and audits.
- Conduct reviews and integration testing to validate deliverables before handing over to users for UAT.
- Develop technical design specifications and translate functional designs into detailed technical requirements.
- Create test packages, execute test cases, and document test results to ensure program quality.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date system documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met while driving customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on SAP Compensation processes and system functionalities.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP implementation/maintenance, consulting, pre-sales, or as an end-user in SAP HCM/Compensation.
- Strong expertise in SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll (PY), Benefits (BN), and Compensation.
- Proven hands-on experience in managing IT incidents and problem resolution.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage effectively with co-workers and management.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities with effective time management.
