Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW / SAC Consultant to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data warehousing initiatives.
This role will focus on the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP BW / BW4HANA solutions, including data modeling, ETL processes, query development, and analytics reporting through SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP data warehousing technologies and experience delivering reporting and visualization solutions for business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW / BW4HANA data models and reporting solutions.
- Build and enhance BW objects including ADSOs, InfoObjects, Composite Providers, and related data structures.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading within SAP BW / BW4HANA environments.
- Create, optimize, and support BW queries to meet business reporting and analytics requirements.
- Collaborate with business users and project stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable BW and SAC reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, stories, and visual analytics solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Integrate SAP Analytics Cloud with SAP BW environments and develop reporting content for enterprise users.
- Support incident resolution, enhancements, change requests, and ongoing application support activities.
- Participate in testing, defect fixing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and support materials.
- Work closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions effectively.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW / BW4HANA development and support.
- Good knowledge of SAP BW data modeling concepts including:ADSOsInfoObjectsComposite ProvidersRelated BW data structures
- Strong experience in ETL development within SAP BW / BW4HANA.
- Experience creating and optimizing BW queries for enterprise reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including dashboard and story development.
- Experience integrating SAC with SAP BW environments.
- Knowledge or exposure to SAP Datasphere.
- Ability to support both project implementation and production support activities.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience delivering reporting and analytics solutions within enterprise SAP landscapes.
- Exposure to end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
- Familiarity with business reporting processes and user engagement activities.
- Experience handling incidents, defect analysis, and enhancement delivery.
- Understanding of enterprise data warehousing and analytics best practices.
Required Experience
- Proven experience working with SAP BW / BW4HANA projects and support environments.
- Experience supporting analytics and reporting requirements using SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Experience working with business users and cross-functional stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
