Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IHB Functional Consultant to support treasury and in-house banking initiatives within enterprise SAP environments.
This role will focus on SAP Treasury, Cash Management, In-House Banking (IHB/IHC), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) solutions, with emphasis on payment processing, netting, bank integrations, and treasury operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in treasury processes, banking integrations, and enterprise payment frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, support, and enhance SAP Treasury, Cash Management, IHB/IHC, and FSCM solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to treasury operations, banking processes, and payment management.
- Support implementation and testing activities for In-House Banking and Treasury solutions.
- Configure and support internal netting processes including AR/AP netting, settlement processing, and accounting integration.
- Support payment processing frameworks including PAIN payment formats and CAMT bank statement integrations.
- Work closely with banking partners and internal stakeholders on Host-to-Host (H2H) banking integrations and connectivity.
- Support bank account management activities including account structures, pooling arrangements, signatory controls, and treasury governance processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams, finance users, banking partners, and project stakeholders during implementation and support activities.
- Participate in testing, defect resolution, UAT support, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documents, and operational support materials.
- Support issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements across treasury and payment functions.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Treasury, Cash Management, SAP IHB/IHC, or FSCM configuration and testing.
- Experience supporting netting processes including:Internal AR/AP NettingSettlement ProcessingAccounting Integration
- Good understanding of payment message formats including PAIN and CAMT standards.
- Experience working with global banking integrations and Host-to-Host (H2H) connectivity.
- Familiarity with banking operations, treasury controls, and cash management processes.
- Strong understanding of:Bank Account StructuresCash PoolingTreasury GovernanceSignatory Controls
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to document business requirements and functional specifications clearly.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with HSBC or other multinational banking environments.
- Exposure to treasury transformation or global banking integration projects.
- Familiarity with financial messaging standards and payment processing workflows.
- Experience supporting regulated financial environments or multinational treasury operations.
Required Experience
- Proven experience implementing or supporting SAP Treasury and banking solutions.
- Experience supporting payment integrations, bank connectivity, and treasury operations.
- Hands-on experience in treasury functional consulting and testing activities.
- Experience working with enterprise finance and banking stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
