SAP BW Consultant (1-Year Contract)
Work Location: Central, Singapore
Contract Duration: 1 Year (with completion bonus)
Compensation: Up to SGD 8,000/month + Completion Bonus
About The Role
Our client, a leading organization in Singapore, is looking for an experienced
SAP BW Consultant to join their team on a
1-year contract. This role requires solid expertise in designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end SAP BW solutions, with a particular focus on HR-related extractors and integration with SAP HR and other functional modules. As the SME, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into optimized data models and reporting solutions, while mentoring junior team members and ensuring project delivery in line with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end SAP BW solutions, including data modeling, ETL, and reporting.
- Provide subject matter expertise in HR-related BW extractors, supporting integration with SAP HR and other functional modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into optimized BW data models, queries, and reports.
- Build and maintain BW data flows (DataSources, InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, etc.).
- Mentor junior team members and enforce best practices, development standards, and timelines.
- Manage data extraction and integration from SAP ECC and other systems into BW with high accuracy and quality.
- Optimize data loads, queries, and reporting objects for performance and scalability.
- Lead SAP BW projects from requirement gathering and blueprinting through to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Support integration of BW data models with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reporting tools (e.g., WebI) for seamless reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP BW experience, including end-to-end implementation.
- Strong expertise in BW data modeling and performance optimization.
- Proven experience with HR-related BW extractors and SAP HR module integration.
- Solid understanding of SAP ECC integration and data extraction processes.
- Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and lead junior team members.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
