Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BI/BW Consultant to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP Business Intelligence and Business Warehouse solutions, with a strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain effective data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data models and reporting solutions within the SAP BW environment.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various data sources into the BW system.
- Create and maintain various dashboards and reports using SAP BusinessObjects or SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements and deliver insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all reporting structures and models.
- Monitor and optimize existing BW processes, reports, and data flows for performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation as per best practices and compliance standards.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and BI trends, and provide recommendations for process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience working with SAP BI and BW solutions.
- Strong expertise in SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and reporting.
- Proficient in ETL processes and data extraction from various sources (SAP and non-SAP systems).
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports) and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate Business Warehouse) would be an advantage.
