Job Summary:

Role: SAP BASIS Administrator

Location: Singapore

We are looking for passionate SAP BASIS Administrators to join a critical and long-term project. This role is part of an upskilling program designed for SAP professionals who want to expand their expertise into SAP HANA database administration.

Candidates with experience in SAP system administration, landscape management, and BASIS operations will gain structured training, hands-on project exposure, and opportunities to transition into SAP HANA DBA roles. This opportunity is open to professionals across different experience levels who are eager to grow within the SAP ecosystem.

Requirements:

- Background in SAP BASIS Administration or SAP Technical Support roles.

- Hands-on experience in SAP system administration, monitoring, and landscape management.

- Familiarity with SAP environments such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, or similar systems.

- Basic understanding of underlying databases (Oracle, HANA, DB2, MSSQL, etc.) is an advantage.

- Exposure to cloud or hybrid SAP environments is a plus.

- Familiarity with automation or DevOps tools is an advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational support environment.

- Strong interest in learning and transitioning to SAP HANA DBA roles.

Knowledge of:

- System monitoring and troubleshooting

- Transport management and system refresh activities

- Backup, recovery, and high availability concepts

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and landscapes (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW).

- Perform system monitoring, administration, and performance optimization for SAP environments.

- Manage transport management system (TMS) and support system changes across environments.

- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for SAP systems and underlying databases.

- Ensure high availability and system reliability through proper configuration and monitoring.

- Manage user roles, authorizations, and system security in SAP environments.

- Perform system health checks, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams for system deployments and support.

- Support 24/7 operations and incident management in production environments.

- Participate in training and upskilling programs to transition into SAP HANA database administration.
