Material Receipt and Inspection
- Coordinate the unloading of deliveries and verify physical contents against Packing Lists and Purchase Orders.
- Conduct visual inspections for quantity and quality, identifying any Overages, Shortages, or Damages (OS&D).
- Formally document receipts by preparing Material Receiving Reports (MRR) and notifying relevant stakeholders.
Inventory Management and Storage
- Organize storage areas to maximize space and ensure materials are preserved according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the SAP.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to ensure zero discrepancy between records and physical stock.
Issuance and Logistics
- Process Material Requisitions (MR) and ensure authorized personnel sign for all withdrawals.
- Manage the return of surplus materials or tools, ensuring they are properly inspected and restocked.
- Oversee the packing and labelling of materials for outbound shipments or site transfers.
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment (5S standards) to prevent workplace hazards.
- Ensure all material handling equipment (MHE) is operated safely and undergoes routine maintenance checks.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with project environmental policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
Educational Background
- Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
Technical Experience
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Keeper or Storekeeper, specifically within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or Oil & Gas industries.
- Proficiency in using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Material Management Systems.
- Knowledge of material preservation techniques for specialized construction equipment.
