Responsibilities:
- Ensure 24/7 availability and stability of SAP systems across the organisation.
- Manage user and client administration, including authorisation management and access controls.
- Oversee system performance, audit management, transport management system (TMS), and background job monitoring.
- Perform system maintenance activities including patch installation, kernel upgrades, OS and database maintenance.
- Manage system backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
- Support SAP Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) initiatives.
- Ensure optimal server performance and carry out preventive maintenance to support smooth daily operations.
- Manage and resolve SAP support tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Act as custodian of SAP system architecture, hardware, and integration landscape.
- Liaise and coordinate with third-party vendors for system support and enhancements.
- Ensure timely delivery of IT-related projects.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SAP Basis Administration is essential.
- 1-2 years of relevant SAP Basis experience.
- Basic understanding of SAP HANA and NetWeaver technologies.
- Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
- Strong interest in software development landscapes and system infrastructure.
- Analytical, meticulous, and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to work independently and lead project tasks when required.
- Familiarity with Linux and SAP S/4HANA environments.
