EC1 Partners is working with a leading global electronic trading firm looking to hire a C++ Developer into their Singapore team, focused on building and optimising high-performance trading systems.

This role sits close to the trading engine, working on order management, internal messaging, and connectivity to global markets.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and enhancing a high-performance trading platform
• Developing order management and internal messaging components
• Working on connectivity to external trading venues
• Optimising systems for low latency and high throughput
• Analysing and improving performance across distributed systems

What we're looking for:

• Strong C++ development experience
• Exposure to Java
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, data flow)
• Interest or experience in low latency or high transaction systems
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Mandarin language skills required (working with China-facing stakeholders)

Candidates with 1–3 years experience are ideal, though strong graduates will also be considered. Fast-paced environment, strong engineering culture, and the chance to work directly on systems that sit close to live trading.
