About the Role:
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and business analysts to deliver high-value solutions using the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for the technical design, development, and deployment of Salesforce applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Development: Design, develop, and deploy high-quality technical solutions on the Salesforce platform, including custom code (Apex, LWC, OmniScript, Visualforce) and configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, record types). Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret technical requirements and translate them into functional, scalable solutions. Technical Ownership: Actively manage work items, taking ownership of tasks from requirement gathering through to deployment and post-implementation support. Innovation & Problem-Solving: Proactively propose alternative solutions and improvements based on technical expertise and industry best practices. Quality Assurance: Adhere to established technical governance, coding standards, and development best practices to ensure solution integrity and performance. Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment plans. Lifecycle Management: Participate actively in all phases of the project lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and release management. Risk Management: Proactively identify technical risks and dependencies, proposing mitigation strategies to the project team. Maintenance & Support: Provide timely resolution for bugs and technical issues identified during testing or post-launch.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Salesforce development. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator certifications. Strong proficiency in developing Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce pages. Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, system configuration, and data modeling. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
Desirable / Nice to Have: Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer, JavaScript Developer I, or any Salesforce Consultant certification. Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools and release management processes. Knowledge of integration patterns and experience integrating Salesforce with external systems. Familiarity with public sector processes or working experience in a similar environment is an advantage but not a requirement.
