Salesforce Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic project team.
The successful candidate will work closely with architects, functional consultants and business analysts to design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that provide strong business value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants and analysts to deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions

• Analyse technical requirements and take ownership of development work items to deliver required functionalities

• Develop automation solutions using Apex and build custom user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniScript and Visualforce

• Customise Salesforce objects including object creation, page layouts, fields, workflows and record types

• Propose alternative technical solutions and improvements based on best practices and project requirements

• Follow established technical governance, coding standards and development best practices

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications and deployment notes

• Participate actively throughout the project lifecycle including design, development, testing and deployment

• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner

• Identify potential technical risks and propose mitigation plans

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Development

• Certified in Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator

• Additional certifications such as Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer, JavaScript Developer I or Salesforce Consultant certifications will be advantageous

• Strong experience in Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery frameworks

• Experience with CI/CD tools, release management and system integration is preferred

• Prior experience working on public sector projects will be an added advantage

• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, development and deployment practices

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
