Company Overview: The company is an engineering service provider specialising in marine electrical systems, automation, and technical inspection services for vessels and maritime operations. The company delivers electrical troubleshooting, system upgrades, and maintenance services that help vessels operate safely and efficiently.

Role Overview: Seeking a driven Sales Representative to support the company's business growth within the marine and technical services industry. This role focuses on building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the company's services.

The ideal candidate is confident in networking, fluent in English, and self-motivated in driving sales activities. You should be comfortable engaging with clients, maintaining professional relationships, and representing the company in a highly service-oriented industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Development

. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients within the maritime and industrial sectors.
. Engage with clients to understand their operational needs and recommend suitable services or solutions.
. Maintain regular communication with clients to strengthen long-term partnerships and encourage repeat business.

Sales & Business Development

. Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
. Promote the company's electrical, inspection, and troubleshooting services to potential clients.
. Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, and service discussions with prospective customers.

Market Outreach & Networking

. Actively network within relevant industries to expand the company's customer base.
. Represent the company in meetings, discussions, and client engagements.
. Develop a strong understanding of client requirements and industry trends.

Sales Coordination

. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery to clients.
. Coordinate with operations teams to ensure client expectations are met.
. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities.

Requirements:

. Prior experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles is preferred.
. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
. Comfortable communicating with clients and presenting service offerings clearly.
. Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
. Confident, personable, and able to connect well with clients.
. Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to achieve sales targets.
. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients.


This role is offered under a 6-month traineeship programme, where you'll work side-by-side with the team just like a full-time employee. You'll be fully embedded in day-to-day operations, gaining hands-on experience and direct exposure to how the business runs. Strong performers may be considered for conversion to a permanent full-time role at the end of the programme.
