Our client is looking for energetic and meticulous professionals to join our team. This unique role bridges the gap between technical customs compliance and active sales growth. You will be responsible for navigating the complexities of duty-paid and bonded cargo movements while maintaining and expanding our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Customs & Compliance: Prepare and submit customs declarations for the import, export, and transshipment of controlled goods (Liquor and Tobacco)
- Inventory Management: Oversee store operations at our Pandan Loop facility, ensuring accurate stock-taking and adherence to excise regulations
- Sales & Business Development: Actively engage with existing clients and identify new sales opportunities to drive revenue
- Documentation: Manage all shipping documents, including Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin
- Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with Singapore Customs and other authorities to ensure 100% compliance with local laws
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in Customs Declaration and Sales. Experience specifically with excise goods (Liquor/Tobacco) is a significant advantage
- Compliance: Must have a completely clean criminal record (mandatory for security clearance and hiring)
- Skills: Strong communication skills ability to work independently in both an office and store environment
