Job Description

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and market share targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities in construction, engineering, oil & gas, shipbuilding, automotive, and related industries.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, fabricators, and distributors.
  • Manage customer accounts, handle negotiations, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Sales Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and group targets.
  • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and training.
  • Foster a results-driven and customer-focused sales culture.

4. Pricing & Contract Management

  • Develop competitive pricing strategies in line with market trends and company profitability goals.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts for customers.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals effectively.

5. Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Report to senior management on market performance and key business insights.

6. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with finance for credit control, payment collection, and contract compliance.
  • Coordinate with marketing for promotional activities, trade shows, and campaigns.
