We are a growing wood carpentry and fabrication factory specializing in custom furniture, interior fittings, and large-scale carpentry works. We are seeking a results-driven and well-connected Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage key accounts, and expand our client base in the interior design and construction industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for carpentry and interior works projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, contractors, architects, and corporate clients.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and tenders, working with the design and operations teams to ensure accurate costing.
- Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the operations and project teams to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs in the construction and interior fit-out sector.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed individual and group targets.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 5 years experience in sales, preferably in carpentry, interior fit-out, construction, or furniture manufacturing.
- Strong network of contacts within the ID (interior design) and construction industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Independent, proactive, and result-oriented with strong leadership abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin/Malay preferred to liaise with clients and suppliers.
