Job Summary

Lead sales initiatives and customer engagement in the semiconductor industry by managing enquiries, delivering technical presentations, and driving sales strategies to achieve KPIs and expand market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sales enquiries and deliver timely, accurate responses to customer questions to maintain high service quality
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and projection analyses to inform strategic decision-making
  • Conduct customer visits and perform product sales and technical presentations to demonstrate product value and resolve technical or quality issues
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans based on market trends and evolving customer requirements
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales KPIs while exploring new sales opportunities and expanding sales channels and territories
  • Represent the company professionally to establish and maintain strong business relationships with customers, suppliers, and principals
  • Prepare sales documentation including drawings, sourcing, quotations, and purchase orders, ensuring pricing and order quantities align with quotations and delivery schedules
  • Organize and lead sales meetings to share market insights and update management on trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address quality issues and provide necessary supporting documentation to customers
  • Assist in planning and participating in trade shows within assigned territories to promote products and services
  • Plan and coordinate sales service schedules and prepare management reports for review
  • Identify and develop new sales service opportunities while providing ongoing support to clients
  • Travel domestically and internationally to perform sales service and provide customer support as required
  • Coordinate and manage contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth sales operations
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, web design, and 2D drawing software
  • Strong customer-centric communication skills, both oral and written
  • Analytical skills to assess market data and solve problems independently
  • Demonstrated goal-driven attitude with a hands-on, can-do approach
