Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Sales Manager (FPSO) is responsible for leading business development and sales activities within the FPSO market. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, managing key client relationships, preparing commercial proposals, and supporting strategic growth plans related to FPSO construction, conversion, and offshore services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Market Intelligence
  • Identify new business opportunities in the global FPSO market.
  • Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and client requirements.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with oil & gas operators, FPSO contractors, EPC companies, and service providers.
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and capability demonstrations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for commercial discussions.
  • Sales & Proposal Management
  • Lead the preparation of sales proposals, tender submissions, and commercial packages.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure technical alignment.
  • Negotiate contract terms to secure opportunities and increase win rates.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Support long-term business plans, revenue targets, and market penetration strategies.
  • Provide sales forecasts and regular performance reports to management.
  • Develop partnerships and alliances to support business expansion.
  • Coordination & Internal Support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, supply chain, legal) to prepare commercial offerings.
  • Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled by internal teams.
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 510 years of sales or business development experience in offshore oil & gas, preferably FPSO.
  • Strong understanding of FPSO lifecycle: design, topsides, marine systems, operations.
  • Proven record of winning projects in offshore or EPC sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
