Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate and coordinate the involvement of various departments.
- Formulate strategy for sale of new business and assigned account retention.
- Establish, maintain and expand relationships with key customer accounts.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Develop and lead in customer engagements, bid documents and integrated proposals as well as business development activities including channel partner resell/referral programs etc.
- Influence senior stakeholders within customers organization's and premier buyers in the industry.
- Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities.
- Participate in data center industry events and forums to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practices.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of the data center and fiber infrastructure industry with good understanding of market demand and customer purchasing behaviour
- Experience with large hyperscale customers
- Knowledge of data center, Telecom and/or IT
- Minimum of 5 years Sales and/or account management or other relevant experience
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in handling Data center contracts
- Strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Experience in delivering client-focused solution based on customer needs
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to travel
