Our client is a global food and nutrition ingredients company headquartered in Europe, with a long-established international presence.

The company operates across multiple regions, supplying dairy-based and nutrition-related ingredients and solutions to B2B customers worldwide through close collaboration between regional and global teams.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Manager Korea Market to drive business growth in South Korea, focusing on B2B food, dairy, and nutrition ingredients and solution-based sales.

This role is based in Singapore and works closely with stakeholders across Asia and Europe.

This is a hands-on commercial role with direct responsibility for revenue growth, customer engagement, and market development.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Develop and expand the Korean market for food, dairy, and nutrition ingredients
  • Manage and grow relationships with B2B customers, including food manufacturers, bakeries, and nutrition-related companies
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sustainable revenue growth

Business Development & Strategy Execution

  • Support market entry and expansion strategies for the Korean market
  • Translate regional and global strategies into actionable commercial plans
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape

Distributor & Partner Coordination

  • Manage and support local distributors and channel partners in Korea
  • Align commercial activities with distributors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure effective execution of sales plans and commercial initiatives

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams including technical, R&D, supply chain, and regional sales
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures
  • Support cross-border projects and regional initiatives as required

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in food ingredients, nutrition, or solution-based sales
  • Strong business-level English communication skills
  • Experience related to the Korean market (e.g. sales, key account management, or distributor coordination)
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative working style

Preferred

  • Experience in food ingredients, dairy, nutrition, or FMCG-related industries
  • Experience managing distributors or channel partners
  • Exposure to regional or global business environments
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on commercial execution
  • Experience working with, supplying to, or partnering with Japanese food or dairy companies

Travel

  • Approximately 2030% travel, depending on business requirements
  • Travel destinations may include Korea, Japan, and Europe
