Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with the Director of Sales and Account Executive to achieve and exceed regional sales targets.
  • Own and deliver against an annual new-business sales quota for EBSCO Information Services products.
  • Proactively identify and qualify customer needs, prepare quotes and pricing, and coordinate product trials when appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships through regular face-to-face engagementaveraging at least 40 in-person customer or prospect visits per month.
  • Develop and execute a territory and sales strategy to grow pipeline and close opportunities.
  • Become a subject-matter expert in EBSCO products and the competitive landscape.
  • Gather and share market insights to support product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time, including conferences, customer visits, and sales meetings.
  • Maintain accurate administration and reporting, including a dedicated office day each Friday.


About Yo

  • uFluent in spoken and written English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency preferred
  • .At least 4 years of B2B field sales experience, ideally selling to government, education, or corporate organizations
  • .Comfortable with frequent regional travel and managing a remote schedule
  • .Strong communicator with proven relationship-building, follow-up, and closing skills
  • .Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • .Currently living within the territory (Malaysia or Singapore)
  • .Valid driver's license and a solid driving record
