Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets for steel pipes (eg. seamless, welded API 5L, ASTM grades).
. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted sectors such as oil & gas, construction, shipbuilding, water infrastructure, and manufacturing.
. Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations to prospective clients.
Customer Relationship Management
. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and project contractors.
. Provide prompt responses to inquiries, quotations and order confirmations.
. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Technical & Product Knowledge
. Understand steel pipe specifications, grades, dimensions, standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO) and coating/lining options.
. Advise clients on product suitability, technical requirements, and compliance with project specifications.
. Work closely with manufacturers to prepare accurate bids and proposals.
Market & Competitor Analysis
. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
. Identify gaps in the market and propose new sales initiatives.
Order Management & Coordination
. Coordinate with production, logistics and quality team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
. Monitor project schedules and resolve issues that may impact delivery or customer satisfaction.
