Job Description

LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) is a business that enables marketers to connect with the world's professionals. We are looking for a Sales Manager with extensive media sales experience acquiring new business across Asia to join the Online Sales Organization (OSO) within LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. OSO is a fast-paced, high-growth team that is transforming the way advertisers connect and build relationships with their customers.

In this role you will lead and coach a team of sales and client solutions professionals who work in close partnership to acquire high potential customers and enable long-term client success. You will leverage your knowledge of digital media to inspire and develop your team to provide the best in market consultative and grow our customers business. You will be required to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders and closely with sales leadership to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations of the business. This leader will be a compassionate manager who can build a culture of of inclusion and belonging. This role will help shape how LinkedIn Marketing Solutions acquires and nurtures clients from across the Asia region.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Help employees achieve performance goals by setting clear expectations, openly tracking and evaluating performance, providing timely feedback, upholding accountability and helping the team prioritize
  • Hold regular 1:1's, team meetings, performance reviews and check-in conversations
  • Coach a team of Account Directors to build value based relationships, listen and probe to solve customer problems, and create deal strategies
  • Use key performance indicators to determine coaching focus areas and track IC progress
  • Provide real time feedback by role playing and observation
  • Hire diverse, quality talent and anticipate future team hiring needs. Onboard new hires using LinkedIn best practices
  • Coach and mentor employees on career paths and development strategies
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to define and communicate individual and team performance goals, and establish priorities balancing short and long term needs
  • Lead the planning and execution of operational programs that deliver business outcomes
  • Possess strong general management capabilities. e.g. ability to report on key business trends and quarterly reviews

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of work experience in advertising sales, digital marketing leadership, agency/media account management, client side marketing, consulting
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team OR experience mentoring/indirectly leading individual contributors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working across Key markets Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and South East Asia
  • Experience in sales, customer support, account management, marketing or consulting
  • Extensive experience working in a client-facing role
  • Experience working against assigned performance targets and driving sustainable growth
  • Experience motivating, inspiring and driving teams to achieve sustainable growth
  • Experience leading strategic, cross-functional and process improvement projects
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be strategic, flexible, and agile in a fast paced, high growth environment
