Position Summary:

To succeed in this role, the incumbent must have a hunter mentality to achieve all sales objectives along with financial rewards align to attractive commission schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing customer accounts and develop new pipelines of sales opportunities.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling and trade shows.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Create sales proposals and manage sales activities till project award.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Perform other assigned tasks or duties as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven ability with strong focus on performance results - evidence of consistently achieving sales targets through a consultative approach in current and past employment.
  • Able to work effectively in a single contributor role and project team setting given the high pressure and complex business environment.
  • Experience in marine engines and propulsion systems is a plus.
  • Comfortable with web-based computer applications including MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Must be able to travel overseas for business trips when required.

Qualifications / Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, sales and marketing or similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development and operations.
