Sales Manager - Logistics & Freight Forwarding

Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 5,000 - SGD 6,000 + Incentives (Negotiable based on experience & performance)
Market Coverage: Singapore & ASEAN

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager - Logistics & Freight Forwarding to join a growing and well-established logistics organization in Singapore.

This role requires a commercially driven professional with strong experience in freight forwarding, 3PL, or integrated logistics solutions, capable of developing new business opportunities while managing and expanding strategic accounts across Singapore and ASEAN markets.

The successful candidate will take ownership of revenue generation, client acquisition, and long-term account development, while contributing to the company's overall commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across logistics services including:

    • Air Freight

    • Sea Freight

    • Contract Logistics / 3PL

    • Integrated supply chain solutions

  • Identify, approach, and secure mid to large enterprise clients.

  • Manage and grow strategic and key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for Singapore and ASEAN trade lanes.

  • Negotiate and secure long-term contracts (6-36 months).

  • Maintain close collaboration with operations and finance teams to ensure service delivery and profitability.

  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for revenue and margin growth.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue Ownership: SGD 1M - 3M within 24 months

  • New Business Contribution: 35% - 50% of total revenue

  • Client Retention: 90%

  • Gross Margin Target: 18% - 25% (depending on solution mix)

  • Revenue Growth (Existing Accounts): 15% - 20% YoY

  • Long-Term Contract Coverage: 60% of revenue

  • Sales Pipeline Coverage: 3-4 monthly target

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in:

    • Logistics

    • Freight Forwarding

    • 3PL

    • Shipping or Supply Chain Solutions

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and revenue generation within logistics services.

  • Strong ability to develop strategic accounts and close enterprise-level deals.

  • Experience handling regional trade lanes across ASEAN is highly preferred.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
