About the Role

A well-established logistics organization is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to support its continued growth in the freight forwarding sector.

This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and expanding regional logistics solutions across air, sea, and multimodal freight services. The ideal candidate is commercially strong, proactive in hunting new business, and experienced in end-to-end freight forwarding solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development in freight forwarding (air, sea, and cross-border logistics)

  • Identify, approach, and secure new corporate clients across key industries

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to increase revenue and service scope

  • Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions and pricing proposals

  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with clients

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives

  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market presence

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics sales or business development

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and achieving revenue targets

  • Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, and end-to-end logistics solutions

  • Preferably with own transport

  • Experience handling multinational or regional customers preferred

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic client relationships

  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset

  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
