Primary Objective(s) of Position
- Source and develop new leads with a key focus on Oil & Gas clientele. Other verticals may include Heavy Equipment or Project Logistics
- Establish and maintain strong professional rapport with existing accounts to develop long term sustainable repeat business opportunities
- Responsible for achieving individual sales target and revenue growth
- Recommend suitable logistics services or solutions in tandem with overall corporate directions and strategies
- Keep abreast of developing trends and gather market intelligence to develop appropriate sales strategies
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and well executed service delivery to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Discharge all account management responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategies
- Develop pricing and business models based on customer needs
- Identify and enlarge Targeted Customer Base and Industry
- Conduct Marketplace intelligence and research
- Promote service offerings to customers and prospects
- Develop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely response to queries
- Preparation and submission of proposals to customers
- Provide after-sales customer support where required
- Respond to RFQs, tenders, RFIs, etc.
- Follow up on invoicing and payments
- Sales Reporting and analysis
- To commit and comply to HPL Occupational Health & Safety Management, and System
- To commit and comply to HPL Quality Management System
Person Specifications
- Diploma/Degree in Sales or any other discipline relevant to the supply chain or logistics industry
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in logistics or supply chain
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Result-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
